Willie Robertson joins us for an evening of celebration, fine dining, and inspiration. Willie lives out his deep Christian faith and through courage, hard work, and creativity, has made an impact on the world around him. He embodies the mission of Covenant Christian School, not because he is famous, but because he is faithful.

As the executive producer of A&E’s Duck Dynasty and Outdoor Channel’s Buck Commander, Willie has been able to combine his passion for the outdoors with his natural ability to entertain. While the Robertsons’ story is a great example of entrepreneurship and dedication, it is at its core built on faith and family.

The Robertsons, Louisiana’s bearded, camouflage-clad millionaires, live out the American dream while staying true to their Christian faith, rugged outdoorsman lifestyle, and Southern roots. Willie gave audiences an up-close and personal, behind-the-scenes look at the family in the A&E smash hit show Duck Dynasty. Willie’s Louisiana bayou family operates Duck Commander, a booming family business that has made them millions and employs half their neighborhood. Still, at the end of the day, you will find the whole family around matriarch Miss Kay’s dinner table.

Get ready to experience a special brand of Southern know-how and a down-home sense of humor as Willie shares thoughts on celebrating, fighting, and building well.

Covenant Christian School was founded in 1982 by members of the Covenant Presbyterian Church congregation who took to heart the Biblical mandate of Proverbs 22:6 and sought to build an academic community on this foundation. For 40 years, our school has supported parents in carrying out this Biblical mandate by cultivating students who are rooted in truth and virtue, trained in logic and rhetoric, and equipped to articulate a Biblical worldview with clarity, creativity, and passion.

The theme for this year’s gala – Celebrate, Fight, Build – was chosen in recognition of the school:

• Celebrating its 40th Anniversary, God’s faithful provision, and the incredible commitment and sacrifices of those who have enabled us to reach this milestone

• Fighting to recapture the hearts and minds of students in our community from a confused culture through advancing the classical Christian virtues of truth, goodness, and beauty

• Building cultural and spiritual leaders who will be change-makers in their homes, churches and communities

Covenant has persevered through immense trials including the destruction of our school building by Hurricane Michael in October 2018 and the almost equally crippling COVID shutdown followed by the deaths of key faculty from complications of COVID. Through these adversities, God has been faithful. Our enrollment has grown and we currently serve 238 students representing 140 families. Our goal is to continue to grow and to expand our facilities to accommodate 450 students. As the only classical Christian school in a 90 mile radius, we view this mission as critical.
